Even for a member of the Brotherhood, Mystique’s hatred for human kind is extreme. Even as a child she was afraid to go out in public, for fear of being hunted down and hurt by the humans around her. She insists that Raven is her slave name, and refers to herself only as Mystique. She has an unshakable loyalty to Magneto and his cause, her adoration of the man whofirst told her she need not be ashamed of who she is can easily be seen as love. Mystique is crafty, brilliant and a powerful martial artist who can use her shapeshifting gifts to be anyone, or get into anywhere. With such a cunning enemy, can the X-men trust anyone?
